For correct operation of the digital filtering and other processing on the WM8741, the user must ensure the correct value of OSR[1:0] is set at all times.[1] Hence, depending the selected sampling rate, set the OSR (over- sampling rate) mode in hw_params(). There are various text files in the Documentation/ subdirectory,
several of them using the Restructured Text markup notation.
Please read the Documentation/process/changes.rst file, as it contains the
requirements for building and running the kernel, and information about
the problems which may result by upgrading your kernel.
