Yann E. MORIN d8000791e3 {boot, package}: update hashes of git, svn, go, and cargo archives
Replace all git and svn packages archive names in hash files:

    $ sed -r -i -e 's/-br2/-git3/; s/-br3/-svn4/' $(
        git grep -l -E -- '-br2|-br3' '*.hash'
    )

    $ sed -r -i -e 's/(\.tar\.gz)$/-go1\1/' $(
        git grep -l -E '\$\(eval \$\((host-)?golang-package\)\)' '*.mk' \
        |sed -r -e 's/\.mk$/.hash/' \
        |sort -u
    )

    $ sed -r -i -e 's/(\.tar\.gz)$/-cargo1\1/' $(
        git grep -l -E '\$\(eval \$\((host-)?cargo-package\)\)' '*.mk' \
        |sed -r -e 's/\.mk$/.hash/' \
        |sort -u
    )

Then a bit of make source (based on: git diff --name-only), a lot of
sweat, and carefully checking the new archives to verify that only
modes have changed...

  it was a backport from upstream

- Updated license hash due to numerous additions of licenses, and
  updated copyright years. The LICENSE variable was updated
  accordingly, and clarified

- zlib is now a mandatory dependency, it is not checked at configure
  time, but <zlib.h> is uncondtionnally included, and libzlib is
  linked in unconditionnally. See
  https://chromium.googlesource.com/breakpad/breakpad/+/de086a98595f68715c1dce9860f77014a2a1b187

- explicitly disable zstd support, which was added in upstream commit
  https://chromium.googlesource.com/breakpad/breakpad/+/9ea5b228f560580f85df895c2f117d7e43340935. This
  requires adding AUTORECONF = YES because the pre-generated
  configure/Makefile.in available in the Git repository is out of
  date, and links unconditionnally with -lzstd, even when
  --disable-zstd is passed.

Yann E. MORIN 5b95a5dc27 support/download: change format of archives generated from git
Switch to using the tarball helper, that can generate reproducible
archives whatever the tar version >= 1.27.

However, those archives are not identical to the previous ones generated
in the (now-broken) gnu format.

To avoid any clashing between old and new archives, and new and old
Buildroot versions, we need to name the new generated archives
differently from the existing ones.

So, we bump the git-specific format-version to -br1.

The %ci date has been supported by git back to 1.6.0, released August
2008); it is not strictly ISO8601, but is still accepted as a PAX date
header. The strict ISO8601 placeholder, %cI, was only introduced with
2.2.0, release in November 2014, so too recent to be widely available.

As the format and the names of the archives changes, we need to update
all the hash files with the new names and hashes.

Of all the bootloaders that have a git download method, vexpress-firmware
is the only one to have a hash. Others have no hash files, or they have
explicitly set BR_NO_CHECK_HASH_FOR.

For the packages, linux-headers is the special snowflake, as the git
download is only for custom git tree, so it is excluded from the hash
verification with BR_NO_CHECK_HASH_FOR.

Thomas Petazzoni b3bdde2b1b package/google-breakpad: fix build on modern hosts
Since glibc 2.30, a tgkill() function is exposed by the C library, but
google-breakpad has its own internal definition of it, which now
conflicts. This causes build failures on modern build machines (when
building google-breakpad for the host).

This commit adds a patch that simply renames the internal tgkill()
function to BreakpadTgkill() to avoid the naming conflict.

We do that instead of a configure.ac change to avoid having to
autoreconf this package, and because the fix is anyway not
upstreamable as upstream simply dropped the internal tgkill()
implementation, but using that would break building google-breakpad on
older systems.

Thomas Petazzoni fadc438393 google-breakpad: take into account host architecture dependencies
Building the target google-breakpad requires building the host variant
of google-breakpad. Just like the target google-breakpad only supports
a limited number of architectures, it is the same for the host
google-breakpad.

We therefore introduce a
BR2_PACKAGE_HOST_GOOGLE_BREAKPAD_ARCH_SUPPORTS option that is used
where necessary to prevent the user from choosing Google Breakpad when
building on unsupported host platforms.

Romain Naour ca4009fc24 package/google-breakpad: replace references to 'struct ucontext' with 'ucontext_t'
In glibc, since
https://sourceware.org/git/?p=glibc.git;h=251287734e89a52da3db682a8241eb6bccc050c9
the 'struct ucontext' tag has been replaced with 'struct ucontext_t'.
The tag itself is anyway not POSIX - only the 'ucontext_t' typedef is
specified. And that type has existed since at least 1997 in glibc.

Therefore, replace references to 'struct ucontext' with 'ucontext_t',
which works in all versions of glibc, uClibc and musl.

Romain Naour 557f8d649d package/google-breakpad: use PRE_CONFIGURE hooks to copy linux_syscall_support.h
As reported by Bernd [1], using POST_EXTRACT to copy
linux_syscall_support.h break the legal-info target when
google-breakpad package is selected:

/usr/bin/install: cannot stat '/home/bernd/buildroot/buildroot/output/ost/usr/i586-buildroot-linux-uclibc/sysroot/usr/include/linux_syscall_support.h': No such file or directory

This is because linux_syscall_support.h is installed by a dependency
of google-breakpad, and dependencies are only guaranteed to be
available for the configure step of a package. To fix this, we use a
PRE_CONFIGURE hook instead of POST_EXTRACT hook.

Register package-specific target-finalize hooks with the
newly-introduced <PKG>_TARGET_FINALIZE_HOOKS.

This incidentally fixes luarocks, which was registering target-finalize
hooks even when it was not enabled.

To be noted, the skeleton package is not converted, because it is not
optional, we always have it; so its hooks would always be registered
anyway. Besides, the followup patches would render this conversion moot
anyway, since those hooks would be spread across the various skeleton
packages.

Thomas Petazzoni 416fd9cd13 Replace (e)glibc by glibc
Following the removal of eglibc support, this commit replaces all
occurences of "(e)glibc" by just "glibc". Most of the occurences are in
package Config.in comments.

In addition, when the form "an (e)glibc ..." was used, it is replaced by
"a glibc ...".

        systemd / liquid-dsp tweaks as suggested by Yann]

Frank Hunleth 11e149d496 google-breakpad: bump to version r1373
This version adds support for installing important header files to
<staging>/usr/include/breakpad. It's no longer necessary to include the
whole breakpad source tree when building applications using libbreakpad.a.

Thomas Petazzoni 7ef750f4a4 google-breakpad: disable on mips64
Due to some mmap() related issue, google-breakpad fails to build on
mips64, so let's disable it for the moment. The mips/mips64 folks
might be interested in fixing that later.

Pascal Huerst 2bdc3d6113 google-breakpad: new package
[Thomas:
 - Introduce a BR2_PACKAGE_GOOGLE_BREAKPAD_ARCH_SUPPORTS Config.in
   symbol to be able to easily propagate the architecture
   dependencies.
 - Wrap the help text, add some more details as suggested by Arnout.
 - Propagate the architecture dependencies to the comment, as
   suggested by Arnout.
 - Remove the dependency of google-breakpad on host-google-breakpad,
   since it's not needed.
 - Add <pkg>_TARGET = NO, because google-breakpad only installs a
   static library, so installation to staging is sufficient.
 - Reorder autotools-package/host-autotools-package invocations, as
   suggested by Arnout.]
