Julien Olivain 104449d0cb package/file: bump version to 5.46
See release announce [1].

The src/mygetopt.h file license was updated from BSD-4-Clause to
BSD-2-Clause in upstream commit [2]. This change makes this file using
the same license as most other files. So this commit removes the
license entry for this file and update the _LICENSE accordingly.

This commit also replaces the mention "one file" on BSD-3-Clause, to
the actual file name using it, which is "vasprintf.c".

This commit also updates the Config.in package homepage URL,
to use https.

Waldemar Brodkorb 71f36ef938 package/file: fix musl compile issue
It is not totally clear which update is responsible for the
breakage. The breakage has been occurring for as long as Jan 2022.
Therefore it should be backported to older supported buildroot releases.

Add a patch from Gentoo people, also reported Upstream to fix the
issue.

Yann E. MORIN c19cca0452 package: switch to _CPE_ID_VALID
Now that we document _CPE_ID_VALID, and that it shall be used instead of
setting a default value to one of the other _CPE_ID_* variables, change
all of the existing packages to use it, to avoid any error when we later
extend check-package to validate the sanity ofthe _CPE_ID_* variables.

Mechanical change done within the reference container, running the new
check in check-package, to report the CPE_ID errors:

    $ make check-package 2>/dev/null \
    |awk '{
            split($(1), a, ":"); fname = a[1]
            split($(2), a, "'\''"); val = a[2]
            new_var = $(8); gsub("_CPE_ID_.*", "_CPE_ID_VALID", new_var)
            printf("%s %s %s %s\n", fname, $(8), val, new_var)
    }' \
    |while read fname var val new_var; do
        sed -r -i -e "s/${var}[[:space:]]*=[[:space:]]*${val}/${new_var} = YES/" "${fname}"
    done

    $ git diff -I'CPE_ID_(VENDOR|VALID)'

Yann E. MORIN 590d89fdad package/file: fix build with gcc-4.8
file-5.41 uses AC_PROG_CC, and was generated with autoconf 2.69. That
oldish version of autoconf does not check the C standard when AC_PROG_CC
is called, and standard-specific macros must be called instead:
AC_PROG_CC_C89, AC_PROG_CC_C99, or AC_PROG_CC_STDC.

So we would need to patch configure.ac to call either of those options,
and then we'd have to autoreocnf.

However, that would autoreconf with our autoconf, version 2.71. In that
version, AC_PROG_CC always check what C standards are available and sets
the appropriate ac_cv_XXX variables, and the previous macros,
AC_PROG_CC_C89, AC_PROG_CC_C99, and AC_PROG_CC_STDC are deprecated.

So it turns out that we just need to autoreconf.

Yann E. MORIN b9db38d370 package: drop _CPE_ID_VALID, use _CPE_ID_VENDOR
FOO_CPE_ID_VALID really ought to be an internal implementaion detail.
Packages that really want to trigger their CPE defintitions really
should set one of the actual variables to a meaningful value.

There are two CPE-related variables that we could chose to set to
replace FOO_CPE_ID_VALID: FOO_CPE_ID_VENDOR and FOO_CPE_ID_PRODUCT.
Between those two, _VENDOR more often diverges from the default than
_PRODUCT does, so that's what we use.

    ---8<------8<------8<------8<------8<---
    #!/bin/bash
    # Replace FOO_CPE_ID_VALID = YES with FOO_CPE_ID_VENDOR = foo_project

Peter Korsgaard a609f83296 file: explicitly disable libseccomp support for host
Fixes:
http://autobuild.buildroot.net/results/8a2/8a2ea2e4426416447705492237f526fc84b595d7/
http://autobuild.buildroot.net/results/a1f/a1f2369d31c2387efdec908877e0bcaa728b5aeb/

file-5.33 added optional seccomp support, but the filters did not cover all
needed syscalls, leading to errors when the freshly built host-file is
executed as part of the build on distributions with seccomp support (E.G.
Arch Linux):

checking for seccomp_init in -lseccomp... yes
..
../src/file -C -m magic
make[3]: *** [Makefile:764: magic.mgc] Bad system call

This has been fixed in file-5.34, but it anyway makes sense to explicitly
disable libseccomp support for consistency as we do not need it for the host
build.

Make license type lists more uniform:
